Dina Busciglio Sheridan earned her Bachelor of Arts in 1998 from the University of South Florida, Honors Program. She was selected to be the Lead Articles Editor of USF's first Law Review. While earning her Juris Doctor and a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy at Stetson University College of Law, Ms. Sheridan was selected as a member of the # 1 nationally-ranked Stetson Trial Team and won the State Championship as an advocate in The Association of Florida Trial Lawyers Competition. She returned to Stetson's Trial Team as a coach and led the team to a State Championship in the 2004 Chester Bedell Mock Trial Competition. While attending Stetson University, Ms. Sheridan was heavily involved in the Student Bar Association, intramural athletics, and service-oriented organizations on campus. She was also a Teaching and Research Assistant for several professors and was chosen to tutor other law students in legal writing as a Teaching Fellow.

Ms. Sheridan served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida for four years, handling all levels of misdemeanor and felony offenses, with a focus on prosecuting domestic violence offenders. While at the State Attorney's Office, Ms. Sheridan was promoted to Lead Trial Attorney in county court, then moving to a felony division where she was again selected to focus on domestic violence cases, while prosecuting all other types of felony offenses.

Ms. Sheridan has trained state prosecutors as an instructor at the Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association DUI School and has assisted in training future law enforcement officers in trial techniques. She has also appeared on Fox 13's Ask-A-Lawyer.

Ms. Sheridan is admitted to practice law in all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is a current member of the Florida Bar Traffic Court Rules Committee. Her primary area of practice is criminal defense, with a focus on domestic violence, traffic offenses, and DUI.

Ms. Sheridan is a founding member of R U Safe, a not for profit organization that provides pro bono legal service to victims of domestic violence who are seeking injunctions. In 2008, she was selected from a competitive field of area business leader applicants to be a member of Leadership Tampa, an intensive program designed by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce to identify and integrate future leaders in our community. Since graduating from the Leadership Tampa program, Ms. Sheridan has been a member of the Community Outreach Committee. She is a former five year member and two year captain of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders. She is a fourth-generation Tampa native and resides in Tampa with her husband, Joshua.
