Joshua Sheridan is a native Floridian who has spent the last 32 years in the Tampa Bay area. After attending St. Pete High and graduating from Northeast High, Mr. Sheridan continued his education at the University of Central Florida where he received his Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major in Political Science and Criminal Justice. At the Stetson College of Law, Mr. Sheridan specialized in Criminal and Civil Trial Practice, as a member of Stetson's nationally top-ranked trial team, and competed with schools from around the country, beating teams from Harvard, Georgetown and Duke.

After graduating from Stetson, Mr. Sheridan began his work as a Prosecutor in the Sixth Judicial Circuit with Bernie McCabe. During his time there, Mr. Sheridan served as a Lead Trial Attorney in the County Court where he was asked to teach new prosecutors and law enforcement about DUI law and enforcement. Additionally, Mr. Sheridan served as a Felony Prosecutor in the areas of Domestic Violence, Stalking, Sexual and Child Abuse. Further, Mr. Sheridan has both prosecuted and defended over 3,000 criminal cases and has tried over 60 cases.

Upon fulfillment of his contract with the State Attorney's office, Mr. Sheridan opened a solo practice, which he grew into a partnership of lawyers focusing on Family Law and Criminal Defense issues. Since turning his focus toward Family Law and Criminal Defense, Mr. Sheridan has helped his clients in matters ranging from Divorce and Domestic Violence to Child Abuse and Child Custody and Support.

Mr. Sheridan is licensed to practice throughout the State of Florida and in the Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is a member of the Hillsborough, St. Petersburg and Clearwater Bar Associations, as well as a member of the Florida Academy of Trial Lawyers.
